Convergence EMEA revived for November 2013 in Barcelona

Convergence EMEA is making a comeback in November 2013 in Barcelona.

Several well-connected sources have confirmed the event (only one publicly) based on information from Microsoft employees, though Microsoft has not yet made any public statement on it. Microsoft is expecting 1,000 to 2,000 customers, partners, and prospects at the event. Communication from Microsoft should begin later in July, with a web site in August and registration in early September.

CRMUG, AXUG, and NAVUG are happy to join with the managers of Convergence EMEA to dedicate Monday, 4 November in Barcelona to User Group content. These sessions will be dedicated to the Peer-to-peer style of knowledge sharing - the hallmark of the Global User Groups. Leaders of CRMUG, AXUG, and NAVUG have also agreed to assist in the development of the slate of Interactive Discussion break-outs for the remainder of the week at Convergence EMEA. Upon the confirmation of the Convergence EMEA Conference in Barcelona, "The Summit EMEA" (CRMUG, AXUG, and NAVUG Global conference) originally scheduled to take place in Frankfurt near the same was cancelled with the User Group leaders in Europe redirecting all energies to make the Convergence EMEA Barcelona event as successful as possible.
